I've taken three different rides in last couple of weeks. And on each trip, the spot stopped tracking during the ride? Thought I would ask if there have been any recent changes, etc. that could be affecting the performance of the app? It is somewhat normal for this to happen to me once every month are so, but three consecutive times is unusual?
I'm using an iphone 8 with swconnect. And the IOS on the phone is up to date.
Hey, Bob. I looked at your account and it appears you're referring to your SWConnect device, right? I'm going to move this message to the SWConnect folder. Ray monitors that folder for issues and is really good at diagnosing issues.
As it is, there's nothing in SpotWalla that will prevent an app from tracking.
Went for another ride today and had this happen again? At my first stop I made a phone call, then immediately checked the app and it was not working (it did work up until the time of the call). Had to login again? I checked it at every stop and it worked all day until my last leg on the way home. It quit working about halfway home.
Sorry for the delay in responding. I left my grandkids home at 6AM this morning, and just arrived home a short while ago. At first blush I thought I knew what was happening. There is a known issue with my 1.5.8 release which I have a fix currently being tested. However, you mention a couple of different failure modes, which is very concerning.

Your post above raises several questions in my mind, and it might be easier to have an initial conversation. I would be happy to make my current testing build available to you, should that make sense, and any build where I specifically address any additional issues we discover tracking your problems.

Thank you very much for the help and I will make contact through email. It may be Tuesday, Jan. 7th before I can get into this again. The life of an old person ... it is either the grandkids or some Doctor wanting to poke and prod at my body.
